Hi all just to let everyone know we’re now almost out of beta testing. We can now inspect your site for exploits and security flaws through the search engines. We are currently in the final stages of developing the reporting mechanism so that everyone can get their searches historically shown and also get them automated to be sent out so that you can keep up to date with the status of your site.
Alonside this out brand protection systems are complete and we should be going to market in the next three months with our Brand Protection program also.
If anyone is interested we will be doing an initial set of free reports security tests. All you have to do is comment below and we’ll contact you. So leave your email address and your domain and we will be in touch as soon as we can be. Please note you will be asked to complete a questionnaire following the free report. If you do this we’ll give you a discount on first year costs to say thanks for helping us improve the reporting facility.

Google is powerful, not in a omnipotent sense, but it indexes everything it can find. Not everything it finds is what you want it to know. It is voracious. If you think that your website is a little dot on a computer game screen and Google is like pacman eating everything it finds you’re getting close. There appears to be no limit to the appetite of this beast as it prowls the electric highways.
Is your information safe from Google?
Well the truth is maybe not. Unless you know how to shut off your website effectively from Google and protect your information. I’ve spent years developing lists of Google hacks some of which give security holes for specific website systems, other that search for password files, others that seek financial information that can all easily be found in Google. Often these results can be found in Yahoo! and MSN - though Google seems to find information more quickly. Oh did we mention that you can find passwords and user names for secure sites on some sites too!
Google Hacking 101
From tomorrow start discovering the world of Google hacking and see how much information you could find online that could be endangering your web based business.

Websafe Solutions
Starting the battle to protect your company online
So you think your company is safe online. Well the truth, unfortunately, is that it probably isn’t. Bet you that got your attention!
Well just three weeks ago we found a way in to a hotel booking engine that their web development company had left open to attack. We discovered a foreign government website showing us depratment spending levels. And we found a world famous University that published staff wages on their website by mistake.
Oh and did we mention that all these things we found with the use of Google, Yahoo! and MSN.
We’re not malicious we’re here to help.
Please note we dont change anything when we find security holes. We try to let companies know what’s going on with their sites. Many don’t understand the core issues of brand protection and data security online. So we’re putting some of our info online.
We’re not teaching you how to hack sites so if thats what you want you’ll have to go elsewhere. So have fun with the blog and we hope we help you stay websafe.
Over the next few months we will be publishing white papers and information about what we do alongside our security nlog so keep an eye out.
We are building a tool to let you discover how safe you are. Unfortunately we need to finish it, and we’re kinda busy saving web businesses, so as soon as we get this fixed we’ll let you know.
